Hi there,
My name is Ayelet- a bit difficult to pronounce in English, but even harder to pronounce in Korean – so you can just call me Aya. I’m a California girl with a spicy side of Israeli, living in Seoul with my mancakes, G.
I have a penchant for Medjool dates + coffee, and a light (read: intense) obsession with fashion, art, travel & food. I created this blog to celebrate my everyday experiences and inspirations in Asia, including: drool-worthy street style, perfectly-flavored bites, jaw-dropping destinations & everything in between.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my KooKooKorean world.

I don’t know how you pronounce your name but it’s beautiful.
Thanks Ana. Most people don’t know how to pronounce my name (eye-yell-et), so I’m used to hearing 1000 different versions of it. That’s why I usually go by Aya.
